Somewhere he had gotten a bottle of Cognac. As tattered as the label was, I vividly imagined how he must have relieved the original owner from it.
And he had two glasses, not quite suitable for a cultivated person, but quite good enough for the local conditions.
Viktor and Valentine were not present. So it's been me, he wanted to invite...
